Space for Giants
Space for Giants is an international conservation organisation that protects Africa’s remaining natural ecosystems and the large wild animals they contain, while bringing major social and economic value to local communities and national governments. Space for Giants works across 10 countries in sub saharan Africa and uses science and best practices to deliver conservation investment initiatives that attract new funding to under-resourced protected areas. Space for Giants is Headquartered in Nanyuki, Kenya.
&Beyond
&Beyond specializes in luxury travel across sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, South America, and Antarctica, owning and managing 29 lodges and camps across three continents, along with a luxury expedition yacht. In collaboration with its long-standing community and conservation development partner, Wild Impact, &Beyond actively supports 75 communities and directly conserves one million acres of land. With a 2030 vision focused on expanding its impact, &Beyond aims to form strategic partnerships to help conserve 40 million acres of key biospheres and double its 2020 impact investment, all while offering discerning travelers rare and authentic experiences of the world as it should be.
AgWild
AgWild is a Kenyan producer-owned company that supports regenerative livestock production and marketing at scale. Through their subsidiary, the Well Hung Butcher, AgWild offers a fully integrated, 100% traceable, and sustainable beef and lamb value chain from producer to customer. AgWild works closely with producers to ensure quality and traceability, enabling the development of common standards and practices throughout the value chain. Suyian Conservancy has been a member of AgWild since its inception, and is one of AgWilds largest beef producers.
LionLandscapes
LionLandscapes is a non-profit lion conservation organisation that collaborates with local communities and partners in East Africa to create programmes supporting lions, their prey, the habitat, and local people. Suyian Conservancy is home to several different lion prides, including one with 15 members. Since 2015, LionLandscapes has been monitoring this pride to track its population and mitigate human-wildlife conflict.
Laikipia Conservancies Association
Suyian Conservancy is a member of the Laikipia Conservancies Association (LCA). Founded in 2019, LCA is a member-led organisation with the goal of uniting conservancies in Laikipia to address common challenges and amplify individual impacts.
Kenya Wildlife Service
The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) is the government agency entrusted with the protection and management of Kenya’s fauna, flora, and ecosystems. Suyian Conservancy collaborates closely with KWS on all matters related to wildlife conservation.
